"Fall's Coming" -plein air oil painting, 10 x 8"This was the painting warm up for the day that I painted the 16x20" on location. I love the early morning light, but the dead bushes were a bit of a struggle, as was negative painting those tree trunks 'alla prima' (wet into wet). I think it turned out alright in the end.
