This is the path that I tore my calf muscle on, after scrambling up it with all my painting gear in tow. Another reminder that taking a short cut isn't always the most expeditious approach, in life or in art. I did have fun making the painting though, trying to capture the coolness of the shade in contrast to the warmth of the sun.
And my leg is healing slowly, thanks for asking :)
