Iris Garden

watercolour 11 x 14" image
I am just loving this loose watercolour floral kick that I am on at the moment. It is really touching my heart and filling my spirit-I can feel the movement of the flowers in the breeze, just the way God made them.
Enjoy!

Beautiful painting Sharon! Wow - the Iris has got to be the most beautiful flower... I've taken so many photos of them this trip b/c they are just enormous and gorgeous here in Colorado. I'm hoping to paint the rust ones I spotted yesterday at the park. The Black Beauties were about 5-6" in diameter with their lovely skirts swirling in the wind! It was a huge treat... my kind of eye candy!

Your colours are so vibrant...and I envy you your studio space (minus flood). Currently I share my space with my family, a TV area, the computer (which takes far too much of my time these days), and carpet (I would love cork flooring). I was looking at your website and love the mixed media work. Do you have a size of support that you prefer?
