This is a very common site in any small town in Tuscany. The first day we were in this town it was very cool and windy -I had taken mostly summer clothes with me and found a lovely second hand store to buy some long sleeved shirts. This day was an absolutely gorgeous day and when I hit the old piazza, I fell in love with this view. I anticipated the direction of the light and painted this as the sun was making it a reality.
