My goal for this summer was to paint larger on location, but this was the largest I was able to do thus far. This is one of my favorite places to paint, in the foothills near the Leighton Art Centre.

I did this before I went to Scotland, and as I still haven't received my shipment which contains my new art supplies and the paintings I did while I was there, I will keep you amused with my latest plein air oils.
