This is a painting I did at the beginning of August during Sunshine Village's annual artist paint-out (see post Aug 28th). This is what one of Sunshine's most challenging but short black diamond runs looks like without all the snow. You might not be able to tell from the painting, but the waterfall itself is about 50 feet tall -this is just the bottom bit. No wonder rocks are sometimes showing and it gets icy!
