This is another of the paintings I did at Sunshine. Remember that cloud from the post on Aug 28th? This painting was begun right after that one, so the cloud had built up considerably and obscured the mountains looming behind the lake. Half way in, the heavens opened and we got soaked. I was working under my umbrella, so that the water that was being shipped away from my painting was running off the umbrella and down my back. I did manage to stick it out and finished this is quick time. Oil and water DON'T mix.
