Musings from my studio

In my last newsletter, I shared some of my process and how I use photo mining to present a clear story to my viewers. Here is another painting that I created, from a photo that I took on a recent walk, but used the mining in order to make the shapes more interesting and to focus in on the story of the hot reflections of the willows against the cold snow. The mining allows me to really get focused on my WHY for the painting, and to work on making the big shapes engaging and interesting.
